As India suffers from the second wave of the pandemic, Indians are increasingly turning to online dating and a new poll says 64.9% of respondents are enjoying it. The survey conducted by Seeking.com, an online dating site, sought to understand dating preferences between Generation X (born between 1965 and 1980) and Millennials (born between 1981 and 1994). The questions covered a variety of topics including intimacy, first dates, marriage and children.

In addition, 450 people out of the total number of respondents said they appreciate online dating for three main reasons: it was an opportunity to meet people they would never know in their daily life. It was the easiest and best way to meet and know what we were looking for.
